Early Hot Summer this Year |
|

The Astrophysicist, Dr. Anwar Ahmed Osman, declared that the world will
witness a very hot summer this year. He attributed this to the increase in
the global warming and carbon dioxide in the upper atmosphere layers,
making a negative effect on the earth’s surface. Osman expected that the
temperature could reach degrees as high as 50 Celsius. He further clarified
that such a degree will affect oxygen concentration and increase death
probability.
Osman attributed the increase in global warming to ill-use of environment
by man, poor hygiene, accumulation of garbage in cities, emission of smoke
from factories and industrial plants, water pollution, vehicles’ exhaust
pipe emissions, over grazing, desertification, deforestation, volcanic
eruptions…etc. He said that all these factors lead to accumulation of
toxic gazes
in the upper atmosphere layers.
Astrophysicist Osman added that Sudan, which is close to the equator, will
have an early hot summer that may last for five months. He drew attention
of the Sudanese to the summer diseases, such as meningitis, calling for be
regulating working hours accordingly. He advised the people to
increase taking of liquids and stay in shade. He said that heavy dust
storms will prevail in summer in months of April and May.
